14.11.2016 | Ulan-Ude LVRZ set a new historical production record

Ulan-Ude locomotive repair plant (UU LVRZ, a part of LocoTech group) summed up the results of the production operation for October and 10 months of 2016.

In total, in October the plant released from repair 68 sections with scheduled 61 sections. In October 2016 the plant repaired 55 sections of electric locomotives. Those were two-section electric locomotives VL-80S.This is a new historical record of the enterprise.

Since January to November 2016, UU LVRZ repaired 576 sections in total with scheduled in 569 sections of the electric locomotive. For the same period of last year, the scope was 476 sections. Thus, the plant increased the production scope compared to 10 months of the last year by 100 sections.

According to the acting director of the plant Aleksey Friesen, this indicator is "the confirmation of the well-coordinated work of all sections and divisions of the enterprise. Ulan-Ude LVRZ is developing, the scope of works is increasing, new equipment is being introduced, and production is being upgraded".

Ulan-Ude LVRZ is the largest plant among the 10 plants that are members of JSC Zheldorremmash.

JSC Zheldorremmash was formed in 2009 on the basis of the Directorate for the repair of locomotive fleet of RZD. Currently, the company is a part of LocoTech group. Zheldorremmash is the absolute market leader in the production of spare parts and repair of locomotives in Russia and the countries of the post-Soviet region.

The company provides middle-term and capital overhaul of locomotives, warranty service and upgrading of locomotives with the extension of service, repair of components and assemblies, production of spare parts, development of the new repair technologies.
