Ussuri locomotive repair factory (part of the LocoTech Group of Companies) plans to repair the pilot lot of wheel sets of locomotive 2ТE25А "Vityaz" in quantity of 300 pieces in 2018. 

Readiness of Ussuri LRZ to repair wheel sets for the "Vityaz" locomotive was confirmed by the Traction Directorate and Design Bureau of the Locomotive Fleet of JSC Russian Railways, as well as by the CTA and the Bryansk Engineering Plant.  

In December 2017, the plant successfully passed the commission, during which the quality of development of regulatory and technical documentation, the production kitting with the necessary equipment and rigging was verified. 

 
The new bearing housings for Ussuri LRZ will be manufactured by the Bryansk Engineering Plant. Delivery of the first batch is scheduled for April this year.  

The mastering of repair of wheel pairs for locomotive 2TE25A is closely linked to the programme of upgrading the Baikal-Amur Mainline and Transsibireian Mainline. Now a great emphasis is placed on servicing diesel locomotives of the Baikal-Amur Mainline.  

Lokomotive 2TE25A "Vityaz" is a new generation machine, its repair has not yet been carried out in any depot in the Far East. Ussuri LRZ has become the first enterprise where the repair of wheel pairs of this series of diesel locomotives with the complete decompression of all the elements has been mastered.
