Rostov-on-Don electric locomotive repair factory (RERZ, part of LocoTech) released 123 sections of electric locomotives after repair in the first quarter of 2018, which is 55% more than in the same period last year. 

It became known during the important industry event - "Quality Day" held in the Don capital. It was dedicated to the efficiency of service maintenance and operational reliability of the locomotive complex of the Russian Railways. The meeting was attended by heads of the Traction Directorate of JSC Russian Railways, LocoTech Group of Companies, traction vehicles repair plants of from various regions of the country. 

It should be noted that meetings in the format of the "Day of Quality" are held regularly and put the task of eliminating shortcomings and solving problematic issues in the operation of traction rolling stock before the locomotive community. 

As we have informed earlier, in 2017, 467 sections of the rolling stock were repaired, which is 24.2% more than in 2016. At the same time, the scope of commodity output amounted to about 4 billion rubles. This is a record figure for the last ten years. In 2018, the projected growth in production will be at least 30.5%. 

Rostov-on-Don electric locomotive repair factory is one of the oldest Russian railway enterprises. At present, the plant carries out medium and major overhaul of electric locomotives, repairs of line equipment, and also produces the mechanical and processing manufactured goods. 

Types of maintained locomotives: VL-80C, VL-80T, EP-10, OPE-1, OPE-1AM. 11 shops are operating in the factory.
