16.01.2018 | LocoTech has formed a youth staff reserve

LocoTech Group of Companies has completed the training program for the strategic youth staff reserve "Leaders of the Future". The project graduates were 164 talented and promising employees of JSC Zheldorremmash plants and units of LLC LocoTech-Service.

Upon completion of the training, personal recommendations for further development of the competencies have been prepared for each graduate of the project. In 2018 the work with graduates will continue in accordance with the individual development plans with methodical support from experts.

"We are counting on talented dynamic youth. This resource is the most important for the future development of the company. Therefore, LocoTech pays priority attention to the youth policy. In particular, to the youth cadre reserve, which is a real tool for career growth", said Natalia Pletenetskaya, Deputy General Director for Personnel and Organizational Development of LocoTech.

The "Leaders of the Future" project was launched in March 2017. Through a comprehensive assessment, 400 young workers (under the age of 30) with high potential, who may occupy the managing positions in the future, have been selected. For six months the participants have been passing a training program consisting of 16 webinars on the most relevant topics for the company, test tasks, cases, study of business literature, videos and much more. The classes were taught by business trainers, external and internal experts.

"Leaders of the Future" is the first training course for the company, which is 100% remotely implemented thanks to modern teaching technologies. Despite the fact that the project is aimed at achieving an effect in the medium term, already now its participants receive offers on transfers and internships to higher positions.

LocoTech is the industry-largest employer. The Group employs more than 60 ths. people, and about 14 ths. are young workers under the age of 30.

LocoTech is implementing a large-scale youth policy. The work is carried out not only with the workers already employed, but also with potential employees, current students of colleges and universities. Cooperation with specialized educational institutions is developing. The goal of LocoTech is to conduct vocational guidance of students from the 3rd year, so that after graduating from universities to invite the graduates for employment.

In addition, various educational programs are in effect at the LocoTech enterprises, and students from virtually all the specialized educational institutions of the country are passing the internship. At factories and branches, youth associations have been established, which include the company's most active young specialists.
