The LocoTech Group of Companies increased the investment programme of the JSC Zheldorremmash plants in 2018 by 2.5 times to 3.1 billion rubles.

Including that the investment programme of Ulan-Ude LVRZ amounts to over 380 million rubles, Orenburg LRZ - over 300 million rubles, the Chelyabinsk ERZ - over 150 million rubles, Yaroslavl ERZ - over 230 million rubles, Rostov-on-Don ERZ - 170 million rubles.

These funds, in particular, will be spent to master the repair of diesel locomotives series 2TE116 diesel engine D49 (1A-9DG) at the Orenburg LRZ, to master the repair of electric locomotives of EP1 series in Yaroslavl and of 2ES4K series - at Chelyabinsk ERZ, increase the scope of repairs of electric locomotives of series EP1 at Ulan-Ude ERZ, to start mastering the repair of diesel engines D49 (1A-9DG) at the Astrakhan TRZ and also to continue the increase of production of steel and babbitt inserts at Ulan-Ude LVRZ and other measures.

The implementation of a large-scale investment programme will allow to retrofit and upgrade the production capacities of the plants, which will lead to an improvement in the quality of repair works. It will contribute to the development of the locomotive repair facilities and will have a positive impact on the state of the fleet of traction rolling stock at Russian railways. In addition, upgrading the equipment will help improve productivity at the enterprises by improving working conditions.

Before 2020 within the implementation of the investment programme more than 640 events, aimed at upgrading and improving the efficiency of operational activities of plants, are planned totally.

As we have previously informed, the factory investment programme for 2017 amounted to over 1.3 million rubles. These funds were spent for acquiring various modern equipment and means of flaw detection, equipment of the stations and shops of factories with fire alarm, conduction of the renovation of the roof, design works on upgrading of plant sewage treatment facilities, etc.
