LocoTech Group has established a Shared Service Centre (SSC) LocoTech Expert in Barnaul. The SSC will handle accounting and tax accounting, as well as the preparation and submission of reports by LocoTech divisions throughout the country, which will create a unified standard of service for branches. 

“We strive to increase our efficiency, including in the financial sphere. For this purpose, a LocoTech Expert Shared Service Centre has been created. Its main goal is to improve the quality of reporting and reduce the time it takes to generate it due to the centralization of the accounting function. This will increase the controllability, manageability and integration of the Group's business as a whole,” said Dmitry Katiev, Deputy General Director for Corporate Finance and Investments at LocoTech. 

In international practice, business structures that perform supporting functions are called the Shared Services Centres. The largest Russian companies have been introducing corporate service centres since 2001. Today, the centralization of functions is actively developing at the enterprises of coal mining, oil refining, metallurgy, chemical production and telecommunications. 

Barnaul, the capital of the Altai Territory, was recognized as the most convenient geographic location of the SSC due to approximately the same distance from Moscow and the Far East. The presence of higher education institutions in the region, the level of graduates, the availability of specialists and office space, and the cost of servicing the business structure as a whole were also taken into account. 

Currently the active staffing of LocoTech Expert is being performed. By the end of 2018, it is planned to employ about 400 employees. The company provides employees with a wide social package and stable conditions, complete registration within the framework of current law, and opportunities for career growth. With the establishment of SSC, the investment attractiveness and value of the company increases by 400 million rubles, the implementation of the project saves up to 250 million rubles a year 

It should be noted that after the full launch of the SSC the specialists in the arrangement of accounting, who will be responsible for interaction with LocoTech Expert, will remain at each plant and the service locomotive depot.
